A very serious roll-playing game, where you can play the sport of king(pin)s! Featuring a simple system that can be slotted into most other RPGs with minimal grappling and duct tape.
Bowling The Very Serious RollPlaying Game also contains:
- 5 Different special abilities to chose from including triggering a training montage, giving an inspirational speech and being a literal dog (there is technically no rule against it).
- 4 Different rival types (and 10 ways they might cheat).
- Multiple different inspirations for sensible bowling scenarios like bowling to stop your local alley being torn down to build a library or visiting the Casino Bowlal to stop a regional terrorist.
Download the game, to have the rare opportunity to play a sports game written by someone who knows nothing about the sport!

About how long does this play for? Looking to run it in a scheduled event.
Also, as a very non-bowling person: Is it 5 frames per battle, or 5 frames for each team member per battle?
Thanks for checking out this very serious game! It should run for a couple of hours with a standard group size of 4 (though can be longer depending on how focused players are on the wonders of bowling or if there are more people crammed in).
Its 5 frames for each person - so everyone will take a maximum of 10 throws (or 5 if you are super talented and can't stop getting strikes).
I hope the event goes well! Let me know
How many players is this game intended for?
Its designed for 2-6 players, plus the GM
LOL. I don't play that game* anymore, but I will absolutely play this. Your game is so funny and creative.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it - let me know how your game goes!
